The Early Bird Gets the Worm — Tips to Prepare for Early Decision

 

For those “Early Birds” that are interested in enrolling in our College of Pharmacy program for fall 2019, did you know that PharmCAS will begin accepting applications for Early Decision beginning July 18th? That is about a month away and time will go by fast this summer! The deadline to submit your Early Decision application is September 4, 2018, so get ahead of other applicants, take some time to prepare so you are ready to begin the application process on July 18th and secure your spot in our class of 2023! Check out these tips from our admissions team:

1.Visit CHSU’s school page on the PharmCAS website by clicking here
Pay special attention to the following:
◦ Cycle dates and deadline requirements
◦ Application fees
◦ Reference requirements
◦ Minimum requirements, including prerequisites, standardized test scores, foreign evaluations, etc.
2.Determine if you want to apply as an Early Decision applicant.  Read more about the process by clicking here
3.Begin contacting potential references to confirm their participation
4.Review the PharmCAS Applicant Code of Conduct by clicking here
5.Start reading about tips on how to write a good personal statement
