Continuing Education (CE) Training for CHSU College of Pharmacy Preceptors

 

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, the Office of Experiential Education held a Continuing Education (CE) Training for CHSU College of Pharmacy Preceptors. The program offered 3 CE Credit hours through California Accreditation for Pharmacy Education (CAPE) – a division of the California Pharmacists Association which is one of only two agencies recognized by the California State Board of Pharmacy to accredit providers of continuing education for California pharmacy professionals.

The Preceptor Training Topics included:

  1. Working Effectively with Different Adult Learning Styles,
  2. Update on Teaching/Precepting Strategies
  3. Preventing Preceptor Burnout.

Drs. AliReza FakhriRavari, Quintin Broussard, and Jacqueline Crouch provided outstanding presentations and Preceptors in attendance provided positive feedback regarding the training event.
