Congratulations to CHSU Board of Trustees Member, Gerald Lyles for Receiving the 2018 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award by Purdue University

 

We are pleased to announce Gerald Lyles, CHSU Board of Trustees member has been honorably mentioned as a 2018 Distinguished Engineering Alumni by Purdue University in Indiana. The award was presented to 13 honorees who have distinguished themselves and reflect favorably on the university, the engineering profession, or society in general.

Gerald Lyles is a Purdue University bachelor’s and master’s graduate, who led the pipeline and mechanical construction of the firm that his parents started in 1945. Gerald Lyles is currently the president of Lyles United LLC and senior vice president of Lyles Diversified Inc. Today, the firm is the second-largest environmental contractor in California and a top 50 environmental firm in the nation.

We truly appreciate Gerald Lyles’ dedication to serve on the Board of Trustees for California Health Sciences University as well as his contribution to the Valley.
